Plasto (without yiayia)

This sounds interesting and quite tasty. Would you be kind enough to post how many tablespoons are in 1/5 cup of cornmeal?
oops! that's what happens when you type too fast. i fixed it--it's 1.5 cups :)
thanks: 1/5 cup struck oddly and who has that measuring cup?! (i even googled it, got zero hits. lol)
Yay.....more pites! I love that you're endeavouring to perfect this and make it your own. Keep your family's dishes alive...it's part of what we are as Greeks.

You know this is one of my very favorite dishes, and looks like yours would make any yiayia proud. The picture is very mouth-watering.

That reminds me that I have a Greek cookbook with loads of yummy stuff in it that I keep meaning to cook!

Yummy! This looks INCREDIBLE. I love the different textures and all my favorite flavors make this one of my favorite dishes. :)
Excellent alternative to our favourite spanakopita Elly...much quicker to prepare as well:D
This is the very first recipe I read when I visited your blog with your yiayia.
Would you believe that I have never made this kind of pita.
Another tasty looking plasto! I really like the spinach, feta and dill combo. I also like the use of the swiss chard.
I don't know of this pita Elly. What a great recipe! The cornmeal must add an extra bit of crunch to this!

Hola Elly! Love to know about traditional dishes!!! And your plasto looks wonderful!!! Does yiayia mean grandmother? If so, it's fun because in spanish would be yaya and in catalan iaia!

Thanks for the additional nutritional info :D

Oh yeah, it has been bookmarked; added to my ever-growing to-do list.

Thanks for another great recipe.

How healthy is this.....a meal with no guilt! wow, I'll have to give t a try.

Peter, Ivy, and Val you should try a version like this. A nice change of pace and easier to throw together!

Hi Nuria! Yes, yiayia does mean grandmother!
